Our Story
Elba Luxe Flooring was born out of a simple frustration — and a conviction that homeowners across Wiltshire and beyond deserve better.
Where It Started
Before Elba Luxe, there was a building career. Years spent on sites across Wiltshire and Somerset, specifying and fitting flooring for clients at every level — from modest renovations to high end residential projects. And over those years, one frustration kept surfacing time and again.
The flooring market was broken. Not in an obvious way — the products looked fine on the shelf and the marketing was polished enough. But when you started looking at what you were actually getting for the price, the picture wasn't pretty. Thin wear layers dressed up with premium branding. Inferior core constructions sold at premium prices. Customers paying a significant premium for flooring that simply wasn't as good as it should have been.
As someone who'd spent years installing this stuff and seeing how it held up over time, it was hard to keep recommending products that weren't earning their price tag.
Built in Wiltshire
We're based in Wiltshire — a county that takes quiet pride in doing things properly. It felt like the right home for a brand built on exactly that principle. From here we supply direct to homeowners and trade customers across the UK, cutting out the middlemen and the markups that come with them.
Wiltshire isn't known for cutting corners, and neither are we. Every product in the Elba Luxe range has been chosen because it genuinely earns its place — from the rigid stone composite core that makes our flooring dimensionally stable and completely waterproof, to the 0.5mm wear layer that puts it in light commercial specification and means it'll look as good in ten years as it does on the day it's laid.
